•Latex paint cans that contain
liquid paint. (We can collect empty
cans or cans with dried latex paint.
You can add clean kitty litter or
mulch to speed drying. Wet paint leaks
onto our streets when crushed in the
garbage truck!)

The Montgomery County Waste Transfer
Station at Shady Grove is pleasant and
convenient. County residents can drop
off household items for disposal or
recycling. There is no charge for dropping
off recycling items, and loads for disposal
are also accepted free of charge, up
to 500 pounds. For times of operation,
