No Yard Wast Collection on Memorial Day
There will be NO yard waste collection on Memorial Day (Monday, May 26th).   Per our contract, Waste Management will skip this collection.  The next regular collection will be on Monday, June 2, 2008. 

If at all possible, please refrain from placing your yard waste at the curb until the weekend of May 30th.  Thank you and have a safe holiday.

County Police Crime Data
The Montgomery County Police Department implemented a new crime data service on February 1, 2008.  This will enable residents to access neighborhood crime incident information via the internet, 24 hours a day.  Users of the service may also elect to receive free-email alerts of crime which occur close to their homes.  Enter www.CrimeReports.com, the click on the Maryland map, then Montgomery County Police. 

Mandatory Application for Homestead Tax Credit Eligibility
If your property was reassessed in 2007 and you received the
notice in late December, you may have been so captivated by page 1 that you neglected to read the fine print which states that you must submit an application to receive continued eligibility for the Homestead Tax Credit. If you were not reassessed in 2007, you will be asked to complete this
application when you receive your reassessment (depending on your threeyear cycle). Read more
